I finally wrote my commentary for the fifth chapter of The Fate of Alchemy. It explains a few things about this last chapter, especially
some elements of Alchemy. Seeing it’s already been two months since the chapter was released, I’m hoping this can serve as a kind of
reminder for all the stuff that happened in Chapter 5.
Like I said in my blog, I’m currently going through
some important things, professionally speaking. I need to focus on University applications for next year, and it’s been quite mind boggling.
I’ve had to put FOA on hold for now, to deal with all this other stuff. In the past two weeks, I was on vacation, so I had some time to get
back to it, and straighten things out with this chapter, but it’s still not written. I do apologize that it’s taking forever to write it.
I’m not giving up on it, and I’m going to try to write it over the next few weeks, somehow managing it with school. My final exams are in
mid-June, so until they’re past, I’m going to ask tolerance from your part, because I may not find a lot of time to take care of FOA.
Believe me, I want to, and there isn’t a day where I’m not thinking about my stories. I think I’ll get more chapters done over the Summer,
so please just wait a few more months.
Again, sorry about the wait,
Alexis
January 10th 2008: THE FATE OF ALCHEMY [I] RELEASE – CHAPTER 5
It’s been on the exchange for a little while, but I only found the time to actually get everything ready for the site now.
I remember this chapter was very easy to write, and it was written within a week. Of course, the pictures took more time to come. It’s a
very important chapter, seeing that it introduces a notion which is going to affect the series until the very last chapter. I was
apprehending its release, because I knew it was very different, but for now, reactions have been good so I’ll trust that.
Chapter 6 is already written, and it’s very long. I only have a first draft right now, and I’m definitely going to rework it a bit, before I
even start taking pictures, but in any case, it will remain the longest chapter I have ever written (34 pages on Microsoft Word!).
So I hope you enjoy Chapter Five and I’ll add a commentary in the coming weeks.

December 16th 2007: TWO NEW COMMENTARIES
Lately, I’ve been announcing more bad new than good ones, but here’s a little something to keep you waiting, while I get the current
chapters finished. This is actually a bit overdue, but I usually try to use any time I have for FOA to get forward on the chapters
themselves, so it’s sometimes hard to remember I have the commentaries to do as well. So here are the comments for Chapter 3 and Chapter 4,
which give you some background information about these chapters. None of it is very important to follow the story, but it makes for good
extra information.
The next chapter should be ready within a month. I’ve made the promise to finish writing Chapter 6 (the one I’m currently on) before 2008,
and with the Christmas holidays, I should have enough time to do that, and get the pictures for 5 done. I know I’m slow, but hopefully the
wait won’t be too long now.

November 8th 2007: THE FATE OF ALCHEMY [I] RELEASE – CHAPTER 4
Only nine days after Chapter Three, here is Chapter Four! It is, so far, my favorite in the series, and as some of you have pointed out,
it’s getting back in the same kind of mood as the Original Series. In truth, I have already written Chapter five, and I like it even better,
but we’ll leave that story for another time.
Chapter Four is the longest one in the series so far, and it was the most demanding in terms of graphics. I actually had to spend a whole
day editing pictures for it. I think it was well worth it though, but enough self complementation; I’ll let you forge your own opinion about
it.
I’m going to try to finish up the commentaries for this chapter and the last, sometime soon. Since, I’m going back to school in a few days,
I think I’ll write them out, while I readapt to my school rhythm.
I hope you enjoy Chapter Four! Don’t hesitate to send in feedback.

October 31st 2007: THE FATE OF ALCHEMY [I] RELEASE – CHAPTER 3
This chapter is coming out a little later than I thought it would but better late than never right? As you might know by now, I had computer
problems last month which prevented me from taking the pictures for chapter 3. Anyway everything is now fixed and so I give you: The End of
New.
This chapter was possible the hardest to write in the series, and I like the following ones much better (though you haven’t read those
yet…). I still think it’s good, but definitely not my favorite. It’s a transition chapter, from the introduction of the story, to the main
action.
I have chapter 4 already written, and chapter 5 in the process of writing. Once chapter 5 is entirely written I’ll take pictures for chapter
4 and upload it. I think you can expect it soon enough.
I hope you enjoy this chapter, and I’ll try to write my usual commentary, during the upcoming week.

September 9th 2007: CHAPTER COMMENTARIES
In between two pieces of homework I managed to write out a small commentary for Chapter 2 and to add a few things to the one for Chapter 1.
To be honest with you writing has been rather dreadful this past week. It’s not so much that I can’t find the time to write during the day,
but school is mentally draining, and after working for somewhat 12 hours in a day, it’s difficult to focus on Chapter 3 at 10PM. I think
things will get easier with time, but I need to get used to mixing school work and writing everyday.
The commentary for Chapter 2 is shorter than the one I wrote for chapter 1, though again, if I find more things to say I’ll update it.
You’ll find both these comments on the chapters page of course. Keep you eyes open for some goodies soon…

August 31st 2007: FATE OF ALCHEMY [I] RELEASE – CHAPTER TWO
I promised it for the end of August and I kept that promise! I give you the second chapter of ‘The Donnavi Prophecy’, called ‘The Forgotten
Prediction’. You’ll find it in the Chapters page, as usual…
It was very fun to write this chapter, because it’s the beginning of Bella’s therapy. Since she doesn’t remember anything for now, we’re
dealing a lot in symbolism which will later be explained in the story; you’ll just need to wait for more chapters to fully understand
everything that’s going on!
I’ll soon be posting a commentary for this chapter, to explain a few things and go more into depth. I’ll also update the one I did in a
rush for Chapter 1, forgetting half the things I wanted to say. I’m not going to give a precise date for Chapter 3 yet, since I’m soon
starting the new school year. I’m just aiming end of September for now… but that’s another story.
Enjoy Chapter 2!

July 7th 2007: FATE OF ALCHEMY [I] RELEASE – CHAPTER ONE
Today is a big release day, since it is the start of a new chapter, part and series! This chapter is actually old news for me since it has
been ready since April. However, I am still excited of finally starting up this new series after planning it for six months! So begins The
Fate of Alchemy and its first part: The Donnavi Prophecy. Both titles mustn’t be very understandable for now, but they will be, in time.
‘The Strange Town’ is quite easy to understand as a title, of course, especially after reading the chapter, where it is explained why I
called it ‘The Strange Town’ instead of ‘Strangetown.’ Those who read my Pleasantview series know that I like to leave a few clues in my
chapters for future storylines. Well, this chapter is full of them, so read it carefully! Well, you probably won’t notice anything, but when
you’ll know more, you’ll read this chapter again and you’ll realize what I’m taking about.
I wrote a little commentary for this chapter, so you can check that out for a little more info.
I’m soon leaving on a five week vacation, so I’ll be a little inactive for that time but you can expect Chapter Two for the end of
August.
Enjoy this new story and leave your comments in the guestbook!
