About Me

My name is Alexis (pronounced Alexi) and I was born on December 3rd 1990, making me currently 17 years old. I live in Paris, with my parents and older sister. When I was a kid, I lived in the USA for five years, which is why I’m now fluent in English. English is actually the language I prefer, and the only one I can write stories in. Many people would imagine French to be very beautiful, but I suppose it has lost its charm for me, since it’s my mother language.

I recently graduated from high school and I’m going to study art next September. I majored in science during my high school years, which turned out to be a very wrong choice, so next year is all about learning the basics of art, so I can begin studying certain diplomas, which I don’t currently have access to, since I didn’t major in arts. Are you confused, yet? Well, if by any chance, any French people happen to pass by and are interested in knowing more about a MANAA, that’s what I’m doing, so you can ask me.

I enjoy writing very much. It’s a passion I discovered through the Sims actually, when I started writing about the Pleasantview neighborhood in 2005. Ever since I’ve changed a lot and my writing has taken several twists and turns. I enjoy telling stories with the Sims, but the current story I’m writing (FOA, for short) has become far larger than I first expected, and I plan on finishing up the current part (‘The Donnavi Prophecy’ – for those who follow the story) before reworking the whole thing, without using the Sims in any way. I have a tendency to take my story more seriously than I probably should, but I guess I’m sort of a perfectionist that way. I am, however, always looking to get better, for there is always room for progress, so any constructive criticism you may have about my story if you read them will be greatly appreciated. Really, anything you don’t like, tell me about it. I won’t get offended.
